Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 02/08/2025
We at Xtradite Digital are committed to ensuring our website, Xtradite Digital (accessible at https://www.xtradite-digital.co.uk), is inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities.
We are actively working to meet recognised accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.1), improve the experience for all users, and ensure that everyone — regardless of ability — can interact with our digital content without barriers.
If you encounter any accessibility issues or have feedback on how we can improve, please contact us at hello@xtradite-digital.co.uk.
What web accessibility is
Web accessibility means designing and developing websites so that people with disabilities can use them effectively. An accessible site allows visitors with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments to navigate, interact with, and enjoy the content with the same or similar level of ease as other users.
This is achieved by ensuring compatibility with a wide range of assistive technologies — such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice commands — and by building the site in line with recognised accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.1). It also involves thoughtful use of colours, structure, contrast, labelling, and responsive design to support inclusive browsing on any device.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This means the content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for the widest range of users — including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
As part of this effort, we have also:
-
Ensured appropriate colour contrast and scalable typography
-
Added alt text to all meaningful images
-
Structured content using semantic HTML for better screen reader compatibility
-
Enabled full keyboard navigation and logical tab order
-
Avoided reliance on time-limited actions, hover-only content, or inaccessible form fields
We are continuously reviewing and improving accessibility. If you encounter any issues, please email hello@xtradite-digital.co.uk and we’ll address it promptly.
